The Abuja Writers Forum (AWF) is happy to announce its first Creative Writing Masterclass of the year. This will be a short story masterclass on February 24, 2018 from 9:45am to 3:00pm.exculsively for registered members of the Abuja Writers Forum.
It will be facilitated by Mr Crispin Oduobok, an experienced writer, multi-sector communications and media practitioner. The masterclass will cover the following modules: Conceiving: Mining story ideas, Beginning: Hooking the reader, Sustaining: Avoiding story creep and Ending: (Dis)satisfying the reader

Mr Oduobok who has worked as a journalist, editorial consultant and deputy editor for the BBC World Service Trust and a local newspaper has a corpus of internationally published and acclaimed short stories including “King M”, ”Heart!”, “Death of Kapsak”, and “The Great Bell” some of which draw from his varied experiences including being a taxi-driver.
