Akinyemi in Lekki

More prevailing and shocking evidences and revelations have continued to emerge on daily basis regarding the recovered properties by the former chairman of the defunct Pension Reform Taskforce Team, Abdulrasheed Maina.

Our investigation have shown that No 61 of the list of the recovered loot shows that, the house No: 18, Road 4, Femi Okunnu Estate, Phase 11, Lekki, Lagos State which originally belonged to Akinyemi Idowu Jegede, one of the alleged pension thieves is now owned by the EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwajereen.

Recall that the Chairman of Retiree Association under the auspices of Concerned Federal Pensioners, Adodo David had written the Senate President, Bukola Saraki with a list of properties recovered by the Maina led PRTT, mopped by and kept under the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

He further alleged that the houses have been shared among some EFCC staff.

This revelation came barely 48 hours after the Senate Ad-hoc committee Chairman on the Reinstatement of A. A Maina, Emmanuel Paulker confirmed before the senate in its plenary seeking investigation of how the EFCC re-looted the loot recovered from pension thieves by Abdulrasheed’s led PRTT.

When this reporter visited the said house Saturday morning, he met a security man who refused to give identity of the edifice.
He simply said the owner of the house is in Abuja.

“I said Oga went to Abuja, or do I look like the owner?, the lanky man asked rhetorically.

When prodded further if there is anybody occupying the house except him, he angrily said, “e be like say dem send you, tell them you no see me,” he said before shutting the gate at this reporter.

President Muhammadu Buhari had earlier constructed a three man audit committee to audit all recovered funds and properties by agencies of government. Nigerians await the out come of the audit report which may lead many to jail. While hoping that President Buhari would put aside his love for Magu and take a broader look at the inner happenings in the EFCC. ” THE PRESIDENT SHOULD INVITE EFCC PERSONNEL AT RANDOM AND SEE THE REVELATIONS” he retorted.
