I truly do not know what the incumbent hope to deceive the gullible electorates with come next year, especially after the gigantic unproductive three years in power.
However, every Nigerian should pause and reflect either to continue with the recent happenings in the country or protest with his/her PVC at the poll come 2019.
“The choice before Nigerians in the coming election is simple. A choice between going forward or going backwards; between the new ways and the old ways; between freedom and repression; between a record of visible achievements and desperate power-seekers with empty promises.”
~President Goodluck Jonathan speaking at the December 10 2014, National convention of PDP.
It has become an uphill task even from APC ardent supporters to defend the lopsided governance of Buhari-led administration. The more he spends days as the president the more lifeless it seems.
Alas, it is more shameful that most veteran and respected Nigerians that championed the campaign for “Change” have all lost their voices today. Regardless of what made them lose their voice, things are getting worse than before and the incompetence of this government has consolidated the need for escape route from mediocrity.
Need we remember that more than 5 million Nigerians have lost their jobs in the last three years, while the present administration have continued with their blame games and time-wasting adventure instead of accepting responsibility. Didn’t the majority that voted for APC give President Buhari their mandate to effectively tackle all our problems using his change mantra.
Fellow Nigerians, it will be suicidal to allow this APC-led government beyond 2019. Hence, Nigeria has to join the league of serious-minded nations by electing a leader with the interest of the nation at heart.
Turaki Adamawa, former Vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) remains the escape route from this sorry state to Nigeria of our dreams. He possesses appropriate qualities to rescue our nation from impending catastrophe.
Atiku’s unbending vision for the development and coexistence of our country strengthens his choice as a true patriot and friend of humanity.
A believer in the rule of law and a fighter for justice and equity, his continuous call for restructuring which the Buhari-led government was hell bent on accepting proves that Atiku represent by far what majority of geopolitical regions are craving for.
As a second-in-command saddled with the responsibility of unearthing capable Nigerians to tackle the ruins after years of military rule, Atiku’s eight years under President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration reformed the economy to become more productive, diverse and globally competitive.
Turaki Adamawa’s vision assisted immensely in refocusing government’s attention to making laws, good policies and providing a conducive atmosphere for business to flourish.
We must trust Atiku’s candidature because of his verifiable track-record, national acceptability and vast experience in government.
As we seek for a better Nigeria to be proud of as a citizen, Atiku’s detribalized and visionary stance are the key to a peaceful, progressive and sustainable Nigeria.
#Atiku for President.
