The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) Mr Ibrahim Magu again has been reaffirmed as the number one in Africa and number three in the world in anti corruption fight.

President General of Global Peace Movement International, Dr Mike Uyi, said on Thursday that the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu, had been endorsed by 1850 Human rights Group CACGP in five continents.

According to Uyi, Ibrahim Magu has achieved so much in terms of recovery of looted funds and properties sincehis assumption of office more than was achieved in the last 12 years of the existence of the commission.

Under him, every government official is under investigation, because the deadly virus of corruption which gave rise to the anti-corruption fight embarked upon by the Buhari government is total and geared towards bringing the nation’s economy back on a sound footing”.

According to the Global Peace Movement President, Magu is the only EFCC chairman that has gone ahead to create the department of internal affairs in the commission just to check corruption suspicions amongst staff, and charged with the responsibility of vetting intending staff, investigating staff, receiving petitions from the public concerning staff and making sure all members of staff are men of integrity.

Dr. Mike described the EFCC boss as the pride of Nigeria in the comity of Nations and said ‘Magu is branded “You cannot kill a BEETLE’.

In the same development, Dr. Uyi also has commended the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Kpotum Idris for initiating a gender friendly policies that have enhanced the much needed gender balancing in the Nigeria Police Force.

He said the gender friendly policies and programmes of the nation’s Police boss is worthy of commendation as it has engendered the much needed gender mainstreaming which has also removed all obstacles on women empowerment in the force.

He also described Idris is an officer with impeccable track records who earned his position at the top echelon of the force.

“We as a group identify with this fine service man that has done well for the country”.

“It is under Idris that we saw massive fight against Kidnapping, armed robbery and corruption in the force. Based on his achievements, he is a gentleman”, Uyi stated.
